So 10 days ago I signed off from this blog…
But as a colleague said to me last week – ‘you’re not gone at all’! – And she was right – I ended up publishing 3 blogs last week, and today I’m back with a new plan. It’s amazing what a little bit of time, space and thought can do – I’d recommend it to anyone.
I’d firstly like to let you all know that I won’t now be writing a blog every day. It was something this man recommended to me, something I wanted to try, and something that worked for me for a long time. And indeed I may return to it some day, but for now I have a new plan that I hope will work a little bit better.
So you can expect blogs to be published consistently on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and possibly other days also depending on what each week brings. I plan to be a bit more specific with the subject matter on certain days but you might be able to work that out as you go.
The weekly challenges on my online tuition website have themselves a new structure also. Number 7 was posted earlier today – and you can have a look at it here. It’s based on the beautiful Emeli Sande song Clown.

There are 6 questions in total, some easier and some more difficult. Today’s one in particular has some interesting challenges for any musician – professional or amateur – and it doesn’t matter what instrument you play. Have a look and let me know how you get on…
